Whether you’re someone who loves soaking up the sun or someone who simply doesn’t have the time to build a natural tan, a spray tan is a beautiful option!

A customized spray tan gives you a healthy-looking glow that’s suited to your skin type and desired result.

Most of our tans are rapid solutions, which means you can rinse anywhere from 1–2 hours up to 6 hours, depending on the solution and the color we’re aiming for. We always recommend following the manufacturer’s rinse guidelines, since leaving it on longer doesn’t necessarily make you darker.

Your final color is also influenced by your skin tone and chemistry. If you’re on the lighter end of the Fitz scale, your skin will only develop to the depth of color that works best for you, which is why every appointment is customized. Occasionally, someone may develop a bit darker than expected, depending on how their skin responds to the solution.

When appropriate, we also use bronzing drops to fine-tune your results for an even more customized glow.

At Hummingbird Salon & Spa, our favorite solution is XTAN Sunless because of its consistent quality, beautiful color, generally long-lasting wear, and dependable results. Our second favorite is Evolution Sunless, another brand we’ve had great success with.
