The Veteran Narrative

One of the biggest parts of The Veteran Narrative's mission is to help you find simple ways to give back to our nation's heroes.

The easiest way is to simply say thank you. You can make Thank You cards with your family and send them to a nursing home or Veteran organization. You can even join our to say thank you to those who have bravely served our country. We work in classrooms to color Thank You Cards to take to veterans.

Even just saying, "Thank You!" can mean the world. When you see a veteran, make it a point to say thank you.

Our last tip is to support your local veteran organizations. This can be a veteran nonprofit, American Legion, American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, etc. They are constantly giving back to the community.

The Veteran Narrative is all about celebrating the testimonies of military veterans. By working with veterans to record their stories (via voice recording/podcast, written testimonies, or visuals), we are able to help them leave a legacy.
Students care about the nation’s veterans. Because of this, we curate lesson materials for the classrooms from the real stories of veterans. It is SO important to connect students and veterans together. The goal is to teach veteran appreciation to our youth so that the future leaders of society can invest back into our veterans.
We lose 22 veterans a day, and this is our way of trying to bring that to 0.
