If you or someone you know needs to warm up, charge a cell phone, or just get out of the weather, SourcePoint: Thrive after 55 and all of the libraries in the county will be open during their normal operating hours:

❄️🐾 Emergency Boarding for Dogs During Extreme Cold in Franklin County

As dangerously cold temperatures and severe weather move into Franklin County, we are offering free, temporary emergency boarding for dogs owned by Franklin County residents who are entering warming centers.

We know many people delay or avoid seeking shelter because their pets cannot go with them and we believe that no one should ever have to choose between their own safety and the safety of their dog.

Call our 24/7 Emergency Services line: 614-525-3400 ext. 1
Warming center staff or local law enforcement can also coordinate directly with us.

This service is available immediately, at no cost to caregivers, and limited to Franklin County residents entering warming centers.
