This is a big one guys, June 11th is coming up. As many of you know, for years we’ve celebrated the grumpiest, kindest fellow on the planet on his birthday. We’ve always called it Speedy Day. We dress up like him, we get some lunch boxes, some readers on strings, and some spicy peanuts and we spend the day celebrating speedy.

This, unfortunately, will be the first Speedy Day without him. I’d like to say I thought long and hard about doing this, but I really didn’t. There was never a question. Speedy Day goes on, and this year I’d like to make it bigger than ever. If you can dress up, dress up. If you can get some cheap readers with a shoe string, throw ‘em on. If you wanna go hard, sharpie a pitchfork on your face. If you wanna go really, really hard get a pitchfork tattooed on your face (probably don’t do that).

We’ll have sushi boats and questionable IPA’s. His favorite things. And do what speedy would do, and arrange a ride, cause you shouldn’t be driving after a day like this. Or make your friends do it for you cause you can’t figure out how your phone works.

We love you big guy. This is gonna be the biggest, but certainly not the best, Speedy Day Ever.
