Cook/Baker – Pizza, Pasta & Gourmet Foods
Job Summary:
Prepare and cook high-quality pizzas, fresh pasta dishes, baked goods, and gourmet food items while maintaining exceptional food quality, cleanliness, and customer service in a fast-paced kitchen. $16.00- $18.00/hour
Essential Duties:
• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes.
• Stretch, assemble, and bake pizzas to quality standards.
• Prepare fresh pasta dishes, sauces, soups, salads, sandwiches, and other gourmet menu items.
• Bake breads, desserts, and specialty baked goods.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow safe food handling procedures.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stocked.
• Keep kitchen equipment and work areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Assist with food preparation, inventory rotation, and receiving deliveries.
• Follow recipes while maintaining consistency in presentation and taste.
• Work efficiently during busy meal periods while communicating effectively with the kitchen team.
• Comply with all New York State health and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, pizza shop, or restaurant preferred.
• Knowledge of pizza making, pasta preparation, and baking techniques.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and food presentation.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
