Many studies have shown with other coronaviruses (SARS-COV), the mechanism of action is stimulating NLRP3 inflammasome which causes the release of the pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1 beta. Studies have shown natural botanicals and nutrients have the ability to prevent activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. There is no cure for the coronavirus, but the goal should be to lower inflammation in the body and support the immune system so if someone does get exposed, they have an immune system strong enough to fight and keep inflammation down to improve the outcomes and reduce complications. ⠀
Here is the recommended coronavirus protocol if symptomatic:⠀
Vitamin D 5000-10000 IU daily - supports immune system defense, reduces cytokines⠀
Vitamin C 1000-3000mg daily - immune system support⠀

Having a plant based lifestyle when it comes to food, means finding creative foods that are tasty and nourishing! It’s exciting to see more and more innovative plant based versions of animal based foods.
My husband and I came across kelp and shiitake mushroom jerky and were pleasantly surprised at the texture and taste. My favorite flavor so far is seasame & nori sea salt. Can’t wait to try the rosemary & maple BBQ! Kelp is a great source of iodine and most of us are deficient because our soils are being depleted and we’re avoiding salt to keep blood pressure low. So eat your seaweed!
