Delray Beach Rowing Club

We're thrilled to acknowledge the North Palm Beach Rowing club, its board, and boatman for their exceptional generosity, which will significantly boost our club's growth in Lake Ida. The donated equipment, including two concept 2 rowers, two used watertight repair singles, a repair double, and oars, will be instrumental in propelling us forward. Thank you, NPBRC, for believing in us and investing in our success.

It was a productive early morning at the Delray Beach Rowing Club on Lake Ida. Andres is returning to rowing and will be joining the University of South Florida as a student and a member of the Tampa location students rowing club. He went out in singles with Coach Rodrigo Banegas to refine his technique and improve his fitness in preparation for his university journey.

Rowing is all about synchronization, resilience, and moving forward together as one crew values that our veterans know better than anyone. It is an absolute privilege to host this group and share the rhythm of the water with them. ⚓⚓

This class represents exactly why we are building this club: to create a space of connection, strength, and opportunity for everyone in our community.

Thank you to the Veterans Administration and to our founders Rodrigo and Dan who helped make this first session a success. This is just the beginning of an incredible partnership.

The progress at the boathouse doesn't stop! A massive shoutout and congratulations to our founders, Dan Kiggins and Rodrigo Banegas, who rolled up their sleeves to fabricate our very first boat racks. 🛠️💪

Thanks to their hard work, our boats are now safely resting in their racks.
