Double crop soybeans โœ…๐ŸŒฑ

One of the benefits of growing wheat is the opportunity to harvest three products from the same acre in a single season.

First, we harvest the wheat. Next, we bale the straw. Then itโ€™s time to get the planter rolling and put double crop soybeans in the ground.

One question we get every year is why we plant them with a 30-inch planter if we are trying to get the beans to canopy as fast as possible. The answer is simple: we plant the field twice. The second pass offsets the rows and turns our 30-inch planter into 15-inch soybeans.
