Good Morning all. Today would be our Baby Chase's 8th birthday. He would probably want us to quit calling him Baby Chase by now. We all still miss him like just like he should still be with us. He'd be in 2nd grade & most likely like his daddy either being his teachers' pet or causing havoc in the classroom. No matter we miss him so much & life has not been the same for any of us. We love you Chase. And all those that have been our support thru the years, thank you again. Love you all

In A Split Second Child Water Safety Awareness

Today marks 6 years since we lost our baby Chase. Seems like these days should get easier with time but not a day goes by many of us don't think of that lil boy. He was only 16 months old. Only had 1 birthday. I know so many things remind me of him all the time. I can't imagine how the days go for his daddy, Jerome Wilson & his mommy Amanda Smith. Not to mention his older brother & sister, Landon & Shaylee. Can't mention enough how important it is for toddlers to get swimming lessons or at least learn to turn over when they fall into water. It only takes a second to let your guard down for a short bit & it's over. Or an outing with lots of people & everyone thinks someone is watching that lil one at the lake or a pool. Then there is those small wading pools sitting around the yards. Doesn't take much water for a small tyke to drown. It's summer time & the family likes to work outside. Never ever take your eyes off that lil one. They can find all kinds of things around the house to get hurt with. I don't wanna see any other family have to go through what ours has gone through. Please ya'll don't think it can't happen to your family cause it can happen to any family. Love you all & thank you for all your thoughts & prayers through the years.

Hi ya'll. Another year has passed & today makes 5 years since we lost our baby. It's still tragic, sad, hurtful & so hard to live without him. Not a day goes by in this family that we all don't think about our Baby Chase. Course we wouldn't be calling him BABY Chase since he'd be school. I can't imagine that lil tot who loved to climb all over the place going into the 1st grade this fall.
