📚✏️ Alabama's Tax-Free Weekend is Here! 🛍️
It's the perfect time to save on back-to-school shopping! During Alabama's Tax-Free Weekend, many school supplies, clothing, shoes, and computers can be purchased tax free, helping families prepare for a successful school year while saving money.
As you check off your school supply list, don't forget to take advantage of this great opportunity before the first day of school!
We can't wait to welcome our students back for another amazing year of learning, growth, and success. Have a safe and happy shopping weekend, and we'll see you soon!

Alabama's back-to-school tax-free weekend runs from 12:01 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2026, through midnight Sunday, July 19, 2026. During this weekend, the state eliminates its 4% sales tax on eligible items up to specific price limits .

Join the Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce and Demopolis Walmart during Tax-Free Weekend as we collect school supplies to help local students start the school year ready to learn.
