We certainly keep the shadows behind us at SALT! Every Thursday feels like a beautiful, sunny day when we gather together in friendship, laughter, and fun.

This week, SouthernCare provided our wonderful craft activity. A special thank you to Jesse May for creating our new personalized giant Jenga game! Everyone had the opportunity to paint and decorate blocks, making it a one-of-a-kind game that we'll enjoy for years to come.

Our delicious lunch was generously provided by Trinity Episcopal Church, giving our birthday girl and amazing food coordinator, Donna Mullins, a well-deserved day off. We love celebrating the birthdays of our SALT family, and Donna's special day was no exception!

The fun continued with games of Jeopardy and Cartoon Mix-Up, followed by wonderful music and ukulele entertainment by Dr. Bonnie Rice, who always brings smiles to our faces.

Our Community Senior Citizens' Prom was a tremendous success, and so much fun! Seeing so many smiling faces, joyful conversations, dancing, and laughter made the evening truly unforgettable.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who generously contributed to making this special event possible. Whether you donated food, decorations, entertainment, photography, cosmetology services, a beautiful vintage car, or your valuable time, your kindness helped create a memorable celebration for all who attended.
A very special thank you goes to our Hospice and Home Health partners—Amedisys, Aveanna, Legacy, and SouthernCare—for your generous support. We also want to give a special shout-out to Tracy Moss for styling several of our guests and helping them feel beautiful and confident for their special night.
To our amazing young volunteers, thank you for jumping in with willing hearts and helping wherever you were needed. Your kindness and enthusiasm meant so much!
Watching our seniors enjoy delicious food, wonderful music, meaningful fellowship, and a night filled with dancing reminded us just how powerful a caring community can be. None of this would have been possible without each and every one of you.
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our senior adults and for supporting the mission of our SALT Respite Program. We are truly grateful for your generosity, your time, and your servant hearts. We appreciate you more than words can express! ❤️
