On 9/11/01, my reasons to make it down 92 floors saved me. I've come to realize, my reasons mean, I didn't lose hope in myself.

My grandfather’s words made me realize that true love and connection require vulnerability, trust, and openness.

It’s not about putting on a mask or pretending to be someone we’re not; it’s about being our authentic selves and embracing others for who they are.

This lesson has stayed with me throughout my life, influencing the way I approach relationships and interactions with others.

I’ve learned to be more discerning, to seek out genuine connections and people who accept me for who I am.

And I’ve also learned to be more authentic myself, to let go of pretenses and artificial expectations. When I do this, I find that my relationships become deeper, more meaningful, and more fulfilling.

Remember that authenticity is the key to true connection and love.

Be yourself, unapologetically and without condition. The rest will follow naturally.
