Art + bikes = 🩵

A bit surprised that these were my bestselling stickers last year, but also not—what's better than bikes, really? Possibly only pizza and ice cream.

What a year! I dove head-first into illustration in 2024, booking projects for map art, merch design, website illustration, and brand design. I got into one of my bucket-list craft markets, and worked with 5 new clients, almost all of them in the outdoor industry. Somebody pinch me!

It was a big year in other ways too. I raced in 3 mountain bike races, led 14 rides for local MTB advocacy groups, and went to the biggest women and femme-focused MTB festival in the world. Met so many people who share my love for bikes, art, nature, and local history. Kept my board position with my kids' PTA, and started a new Destination Imagination team for my 3rd grader.

I'm going to be more picky about what I take on in 2025, which feels like such a luxury. So grateful to every one of you for being here with me on this journey. 🥰

My 3rd year in business was full of firsts: ⁠

🎨 my first in-person markets⁠
✍️ my first illustration commissions for maps, apparel, and stickers⁠
🚪 after taking over one of our bedrooms entirely for my business, my first time having a "room of one's own"⁠
⁠
On a bittersweet note, it was probably also the last year I'll have a kid fall asleep on my lap while I'm working. I took a photo when this happened last fall because even then, it was a rare thing for my big girls to fall asleep on me like that. ⁠

Looking forward to lots more illustration and brand design work over the next year. I already have some projects I can't wait to share!
