Working on revising, "Man a Living Soul," which is the study of spirit, soul, and body. I haven't posted any of the writing for a while, so, here is an excerpt to wake up your spirit.

A believer must understand the work of the spirit because it is the part of man where every communication with God occurs. Without training and discipline, it is easy to “substitute thoughts or emotions of the soul for the works of the spirit.” The danger, especially for new believers, is that before salvation, the only communication in the spirit realm came from the human spirit, which was dark and filled with a mixture of unprocessed suppressed images. After salvation, it is initially the hardest to discern because you do not have the experience nor the knowledge needed for spiritual understanding. So, understanding starts with the knowledge that there are two partitions of the spirit, the human spirit (pneuma) and the life of the Spirit of God (zoe). The purpose of the spirit is to interact and communicate with the spirit world, whereas the body communicates with the natural world. Both spirit and body transmit their interactions and stimuli to the soul, where it is processed and used to determine man’s will or volition.
