On August 2, 1993, a group of seven hikers led by Lyudmila Korovina, set out on a planned multi-day trek through the Khamar-Daban range but failed to meet up with another group as scheduled. Six died but 17-year-old Valentina Utochenko survived. Much like the Dyatlov Pass Incident, they died in mysterious ways. The official cause of death does not explain the harrowing account from the sole survivor - not even close. We explore the various theories for their sudden deaths.
