Let's talk tax assessment appeals!

This Thursday, June 8th is your deadline to appeal if you feel your tax assessment came in too high. You may also appeal for:

-incorrect property characteristics (bedroom count, etc.)
-incorrect property classification

If you are appealing the value on your own, PLEASE NOTE: the sold comparables need to be within the June 30, 2020-June 30, 2022. Anything sold after WILL NOT COUNT.

MONDAY MARKET UPDATE 📈

Here's a really non-fancy look at numbers over the past month in Denver:

New Listings 771 --> 787 --> 786
Pending Sales 1070 --> 1154 --> 967
Closed Sales 806 --> 991 --> 728
Price Decrease 509 --> 724 --> 555

New Listings have risen ever-so slightly, but not enough to correlate with the rise in pending and closed sales. This means we're still in a strong seller's market and there isn't enough new homes to keep up with the demand. Pending and closed sales have gone down slightly (likely due to the fact that we simply don't have a rise in new homes on the market and the available homes have already gone under contract), so I will be interested to see if we continue trending in that direction next week.
