😳 the greatest lesson I’ve learned in 42 years…

Take time for the silly s**t!
⠀
As I started my 43rd turn around the sun yesterday, one thought kept popping up.
⠀
This is it.
⠀
Right here, right now, it’s all I really have.
⠀
And especially since I left the corporate world, I’m finding that the more I lean into the present, the more I feel true abundance.
⠀
Not just with money, but in every aspect of life.
⠀
🌸 it’s stopping to gawk at the flowers in full bloom in the local park
⠀
🎶 it’s singing along to my favorite Dua Lipa song, full blast, as we cruise the countryside in our rental car
⠀
And today, I felt it most posing alongside this man in his pantaloons in Estremoz.
⠀
Every year seems to go faster than the one before.
⠀
But embracing the silly, finding room for more love, and living each day with as much intentionality as possible is my recipe for making the most of it.
⠀
Birthdays are always a great reminder for me to slow down and enjoy the limited time we have on this blue marble 🌍
