Builder/Weaver

As I start a new position building, sharing and connecting communities in Colorado, I want to take up some space for myself to figure out what belonging means to me personally. I'm struggling and so I'm gonna write it out. I'm an essayist after all, so I'm going to take a risk and put it out on 's internet (worth a shot). Not only am I trying to find my roots, I'm trying to be grounded and water my own roots- two very different goals. Inspired by bell hooks and fueled by my incessant thoughts, these writings will be exploratory of what I need to feel as if I belong. Here, there and in the future.
