We are a successful, privately held company that services the home improvement industry with customers such as Home Depot, Lowes, TruValue, and ACE Hardware. We are a high volume, fast-paced operation with locations in Colorado, Alabama, and Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:
• This position will be responsible for all recruiting and staffing
strategies for our front-line positions and will support multiple
states.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
• Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
• Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
• Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
• Analytical reporting
• Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers.
• Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
• Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
• At least two years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• 10% Travel
• Position is located in the Denver, CO office

Acme Manufacturing Company is a prime manufacturer of a variety of metal products. We are currently seeking an experienced machine operator or an individual looking to become a machine operator. We offer a unique opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and solid references.

Mechanically inclined individuals willing to learn how to run machinery will be considered for this opportunity. We are willing to train someone to run various types of machinery if they are willing to learn and have good mechanical aptitude.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Proficient using gauges, tape measures, and other basic hand tools
• Ability to document production and quality standards information
• Proactively engage in working in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. and interact in a physically demanding position

Steel industry and/or forklift experience a plus.
