Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Royce Ben Jameson as a suspect for intentionally starting a brush fire.

On June 29, at about 4:46 p.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a man intentionally setting fire to brush near mile marker 16 on State Highway 74. Officers responded after multiple witnesses called 911, reporting that they observed a man standing over a fire on the south side of the highway.
