A big thank you to everyone who came out to our last We Made This booth. We will be in front of Ruby’s Market at the Pearl Street Farmers Market this weekend and every last Sunday of the month until November — come shop handmade and support refugee artisans!

Our most recent cohort of We Made This participants recently got the opportunity to take a field trip to the Denver Botanic Gardens. This group of incredible refugee women spent the afternoon relaxing on the grass, sharing a meal, and simply enjoying each other’s company and bonding in the beautiful setting.
They also explored the current Spirit Guides installation (created by Mexican artists Jacobo and María Ángeles), admiring the intricate designs and powerful meanings behind them. It was a day of reflection, connection, and being fully present with nature and one another—an experience that left us all refreshed, inspired, and more connected with one another.
ACC extends a warm thanks to our community partner, the Denver Botanic Gardens, for accommodating We Made This.
