Happy Pride Month. 🌈

This month, we celebrate the strength, diversity and contributions of LGBTQIA+ communities. Pride is both a celebration and a reminder to honor those whose courage and advocacy expanded rights and opportunities for others, while recognizing the work that remains.

We know that thriving communities are built when every person feels empowered to be their authentic self, and we are proud to stand alongside LGBTQIA+ community members, organizations and advocates working to create a more inclusive Greater Denver.

Visit denverpride.org/events/ for activities throughout the month. From book fairs to dance parties to run clubs to PrideFest - there's something for everyone to join the celebration.

Today marks one year since the attack on the Boulder Run for Their Lives gathering, a peaceful walk on Pearl Street held in solidarity with the hostages taken from Israel on October 7, 2023.

We remember Karen Diamond, may her memory be a blessing. We also honor the survivors and all those whose lives were forever changed by this act of violence.

As we reflect on this difficult anniversary, we hold space for continued healing and remain inspired in our work by the resilience, compassion and strength demonstrated by the Boulder Jewish community.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month πŸ’š.

Strong communities are built on care, connection and compassion. Mental health is an essential part of overall well-being and yet, many people face barriers to the support they need.

We honor our partners, advocates and individuals working every day to expand access to mental health care, reduce stigma and ensure that no one has to navigate challenges alone. We’re proud to support efforts across our community that prioritize mental wellness, from culturally responsive care to programs that meet people where they are.

Let this month be a reminder to continue to listen, learn and show up for one another.
