The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival is back at Sloan’s Lake Park. After a two-year hiatus, the family-friendly celebration of Colorado’s rich Asian American Pacific Islander heritage is expected to be its biggest festival yet.
The two-day celebration will return to Denver with over 40 dragon boat race teams, more than 70 food and marketplace vendors, and three performance stages. You don’t want to miss out on this free and fun event!

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration which commemorates the end to slavery in the United States. 157 years ago today, slaves in Galveston, Texas were informed the Civil War had ended, and they were free – two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
