But Author Warren Berger writes in "A More Beautiful Question" that while children between ages two and five ask about 40,000 questions, that number drops off a cliff after age five. Why, you may ask? In Berger's book, he reports: "But many educators and learning experts also contend that our current system of education does not encourage, teach, or in some cases even tolerate questioning."
