I was in Mesa, Arizona, putting in work at The Saltmine Studio Oasis as DJ Quote The Beatmaker.

A lot of people recognize the “DJ Quote” name, but many overlooked the “The Beatmaker” part. Producing has always been a huge part of who I am. Long before social media made it easy to document the process, I was in studios creating, learning, and building relationships.

I’ve always represented Colorado throughout the Southwest, working in Arizona, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Utah, and beyond. Wherever I went, I carried Colorado with me.

I’ve never stopped creating.

Music isn’t something I started because it was trending. It’s something I’ve devoted decades to, and I’m grateful to still be doing what I love. Whether it’s making beats, DJing, collecting records, or documenting the culture, I’ve always stayed true to the craft.
