For the past couple of months, seeing so much online with AI and the increased vulnerability of children has really weighed heavy on me.

As a photographer, I have to carry some responsibility for the content I share.

Moving forward I won’t be posting identifying photos of young kids.

It’s something I take into consideration when taking photos for organizations I work with and I always include social friendly photos for my clients who want to share online without showing their kids.

It’s getting scary out here for our kids and this account is public. So I’d rather give parents full authority on what images get shared of their kids.

But if you post photos please tag me I’d love to see your favorites!

It’s grad season and I have had the best seniors this year. Im so inspired by these sessions.

I love getting to talk to young people, hear about things the love (or don’t), and where they want to go.

If there is one word (or a hyphenated one) that I find myself using to describe them it is “self-aware”.

Meeting in downtown Lincolnton for senior portraits was perfect. Her request was the complete opposite of most requests for locations and I LOVE when that happens.

I actually love to become friends with my seniors on IG so I can see their next chapter in action. I truly can’t wait to see what’s next for you Vanessa! Congratulations!!
