Made in His Image

It is with tremendous JOY that we welcomed Madeleine Avila into the world on 11/8/22!! It was the most beautiful day and birth and we are so thankful she is here!!

Madeleine, our daughter - you are wanted. You are loved. You are beautiful. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are a gift and it is one of the greatest honors of my life to be your mama.

On the morning of Madeleine’s birth I was able to go to an early Mass. And it was really amazing and brought tears of thanksgiving to my eyes because the verse I prayed the most while I was single, going through therapy and waiting for a husband was “Trust in the Lord and He will grant you the desires of your heart.” - Psalm 37:4

That was the Responsorial psalm at our wedding and it was the psalm that day at Mass (Madeleine’s birthday)!

I prayed for all of your intentions during labor and delivery.

Thank you Father for the precious gift of sweet Madeleine Avila! You are so faithful!!
