Celebrate Disability Pride Month with Us!

Please note that Atlantis Community, Inc. will close at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, July 13, so our staff can participate in Denver's Disability Pride celebration. We encourage our consumers, partners, and community members to join us for this free event!

Mayor Mike Johnston's Office, Denver Human Rights & Community Partnerships, and the Denver Commission for People with Disabilities invite you to an evening of community, connection, and celebration honoring the contributions, leadership, and history of the disability community.

Denver Central Library – Park View Room

The celebration will feature:

-Special guest speaker: Amelia Smith, Director of Independent Living Programs at Atlantis Community, Inc.
-Remarks from City leaders
-A performance by Phamaly Theatre Company
-Opportunities to connect with community members and local organizations advancing disability inclusion
-A special exhibition from the Denver Public Library featuring historical archives highlighting Colorado's Disability Rights Movement

Join Atlantis Community, Inc. and Guided by Humanity for an afternoon of music, community, and celebration as we kick off Disability Pride Month together! We'll be grilling burgers and hot dogs, enjoying delicious treats from the Smoothie Bus.
