When an injury or an impact to the body occurs when the nervous system is in an activated state, the body responds to that impact or injury differently than if that same injury were to occur during a calm state. The injury gets stored in the body as a survival strategy until the person can get to safety. If we don’t pause and release when we get to safety, that emotion or nervous system state gets trapped in the tissues. CranioSacral Therapy can help release these stored emotions so you can regain access to the full function & vitality of those structures in the body.

At the Recovery Lounge & Spa, we take a comprehensive holistic approach to addressing engorgement, clogged ducts and low milk supply, loosely following the abm guidelines using the following therapies:
1. PEMF - PEMF is a therapeutic approach aimed at enhancing the body’s natural healing processes through the use of electromagnetic fields.
2. We have a Lactation Consultant on staff with advanced training in Oral
Functional Assessment & Habilitation.
3. Manual Lymphatic Drainage practitioners to help eliminate excess lymphatic fluid.
4. CranioSacral Therapy to address body & oral tension in baby or mother that is inhibiting the breastfeeding relationship.
We challenged our Lymphatic Drainage practitioners to come up with a protocol for home use and they excelled! Scroll to the bottom and watch the amazing video they came up with. Not only is it good for breastfeeding moms , but overall breast health for all women!
