The 2025 Colorado Health Access Survey shows that LGBTQ+ Coloradans reported that they needed culturally sensitive health care and were more likely to feel disrespected when they sought health care services. This may help to explain why they reported poorer health outcomes than their heterosexual and cisgender counterparts.
