I did not know this!
The 9/11 Memorial "Tear Drop" sits directly across from NYC, in Bayonne New Jersey, just the other side of the Statue of Liberty, yet we hear nothing about it. This absolutely beautiful, 100 ft. tall monument was gifted to the people of the United States by the people of Russia in 2006, in memory of all those who lost their lives on that fateful day, September 11, 2001.
The breaking in the cracked facade forms the shape of the two towers. The giant suspended tear drop signifies the tears of the entire world that day.
Maybe it's something that needs to be known, starting today.

This week has been a rough one🤦‍♀️. I (we) all lost a dear friend and I haven’t wanted to post anything or pictures because I will start to cry 🥺again.

John Logan and I met (we believe) at either the South Metro Chamber of Commerce or Behind the Moon (Certus) events. Thanks to John Brackney’s Il Fornio’s dinners we would meet there after my Ivs and drink wine and eat apps. He let me know how proud he was of his daughters.. I was living my dreams of Australia and New Zealand through his stories. I would wear heels in the snow and use a cane if necessary.

Fast forward to 2023, John and I reconnected almost a year ago. I’m using an electric wheel chair now. John never judged me and when he told me he had Stage 4 Cancer he didn’t want to upset me, but knew I would understand. He didn't know I lost my dad to Leukemia/Lymphoma. He said to me and all of you….he just wanted to live however many months he had left “living his best life”!

John brought me the food and the wine/ cheese and took me to Glendale Chamber event. I was able to connect with so many old friends…especially Jenny Jennifer Mayes!

There are so many more laughs. We will meet again. I love you,John Logan💖
