The first art retreat really happened✌️It took over a year to plan this dream trip to Kyoto. Many didn’t believe it or trust me first😮‍💨 But these folks did 😭 The brave adventurers from across the US, thank you for challenging yourselves to learn new form of art and have fun together. I am grateful forever to trust us🥰 was my partner in crime and I’m sooo thankful for Niki to help, prep & come with me to be a huge supporter emotionally & physically 💕 This photo, taken on the last day after an unforgettable green tea ceremony with a resident monk , says it all – We did it! Hazzzah🫶

The main reason why I wanted to come to Miyama was visiting here the little indigo museum 💙 Finally made it and it was worth visiting 💙 Stunning artwork & private collections by late Hiromichi Shindo welcomed in the space. Speechless!!
