Tonight we are continuing our Christmas tradition of Carols & Ale! Come at 4pm for a chili dinner and cookie decorating for the kids, and then at 5pm we start the singing. Bring an instrument to play along and join the Bloom Orchestra!

So come one, come all,
Come friends and neighbors,
Singing rowdy, reverent
Christmastime bangers!

THIS SUNDAY @ 5PM

It's that time of year! We're gathering together to celebrate the season with our take on the traditional service of Nine Lessons and Carols, adding some good Christmas Ale and chili, LOTS of instruments, and general merriment.

If you play an instrument, bring it with you, and you'll be in instantly accepted into the Bloom Orchestra. There will be chords up on the screens for everyone to play along. The whole family is welcome- kids can decorate cookies and sing along with everyone. We'll have plenty of Christmas Ale to go around, but if you've got a favorite seasonal ale you'd like to share, feel free to bring it.

So come one, come all;
come friends and neighbors,
to our rowdy, reverent, joy-filled Christmas tradition!

Artist Collective
November 8th, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Bloom Common Space

If you are an artist/creator, you are invited to the Artist Collective at Bloom!

THEME FOR NOVEMBER: THE TENSION AROUND HOW YOUR WORK IS RECEIVED BY OTHERS

We will consider:

1. How do you hope your work functions in other peoples lives?
2. How does it feel for you when when people engage with it differently than your original hope?
3. What's your spiral/coping after feeling the sense of failure? (We know there is growth from this, that's not what we’re asking....)

FEATURED ARTIST
Melinda Moustakis was born in Fairbanks, Alaska and grew up in California. She is the author of the novel Homestead, which was published by Flatiron Books in 2023. Her linked story collection Bear Down, Bear North: Alaska Stories won the Flannery O’Connor Award and was a 5 Under 35 selection by the National Book Foundation. We're so excited for her to share! Come with questions and wonderment!

We will have snacks and boozy drinks available to grease the wheels of social interaction.
