It's so here's a little about how our newest Advocate, Veronica Pippard, joined the Targeted Legal Staffing Solutions team!

"It started a as night at the Rockies game and ended with a new career I didn’t know I needed...

I thought it was just going to be a fun night at the Rockies game and a celebration of my friend, Dana’s, promotion.

It was both, and more.

Dana shared that her promotion meant that there was an opening at Targeted Legal and the seed was planted.

Initially I didn’t think too much of it, but days after the game it was still something that was in the back of my mind.

I called Dana and told her that I wanted to learn more.

After a fun night at happy hour and learning more about the role, Dana suggested I connect with her colleague, Amanda.

I spoke with Amanda and she sold me. I agreed to meet with Marcus to really determine if it was the career move I was looking for.

I shared with Marcus more about my experience, why I was thinking about a new opportunity and what I needed from a company in order to feel confident in making a change. Marcus listened to every word I said and pinpointed each of the key things I wanted and was missing in my current role.

Then I met the team and witnessed first hand the sense of teamwork and camaraderie that existed.

I was in.

And now, here I am. I get to be an advocate for my clients and candidates. I’m a part of an amazing team. I feel challenged and I’m growing.

Moral of the story, when opportunity knocks, always be willing to listen. You never know how perfect something could turn out to be!
