As part of a little personal project I have planned I was watching a video on lighting, presented by the incredibly gifted instructor, Tony Corbell. I want to share something he said:

"A photograph is a picture OF someone. A portrait is a picture ABOUT someone."

Spent Saturday doing what every photographer should make time for - learning new techniques and networking with other pet photographers at the Boutique Canine Photography workshop put on by the Professional Photographers of Colorado, and taught by the amazing duo of Jen Hargrove and Cliff Lawson. This is one of my images from the practical portion of the workshop.
