This past weekend we were lucky enough to support our brother Ebay's lady, Fireball, singing the National Anthem at the 20th annual Sleigh Riders Motorcycle Toy Run. She did an amazing job as usual! What a great day with friends and family, supporting a very worthy cause!

Every year the Sentinels Mother Chapter adopts a family for the holidays. This year we decided to support two wonderfully humble families that have definitely been through the thick of it.

One of those families are the Stones. Scott Stone is a former Deputy Sheriff with the El Paso County Sheriff’s. In February of 2018, Scott and his partner, Micah Flick, unfortunately took fire from a suspect. Most of us know that Deputy Flick succumbed from his wounds. Our continued condolences go out to the Flick family. Scott was also injured by this armed assailant. Without going into much detail, Scott has been on one heck of a rollercoaster. His road to recovery in so many aspects has tried to bring him down so many times, yet he continues to keep his head high and maintain his pride.

Two months ago, a dear friend of ours, Keenan Waters (aka Storm), passed away during his third battle against cancer. We cannot fathom the stressors this has caused on the Waters family. His wife and children have been very humble during this hard time and frequently show us how strong and faithful they are. Keenan retired from the Brighton Police Department where he spearheaded many programs/units, to include the initialization of Brighton PD’s SWAT team. He performed his duties with pride and honor regardless of his task and assignment. His efforts and character are well known by his community. The Sentinels miss you brother.

We hope that our annual “Adopt-A-Family” brings joy and some ease of mind to both of these families. We are here for you guys and will come in numbers when you need help with anything.
