Colorado Health Network is proud to stand alongside advocates, community members, and health justice leaders at the Care is Critical Rally & Candlelight Vigil on June 5th.

This powerful evening is part of the national Seven Days in June week of action, a call for health to be treated as a fundamental governing priority.

📍 Western Steps, Colorado State Capitol
🗓️ Thursday, June 5 | 7:00 – 9:00 PM

The evening will include live music, speakers addressing the intersectional healthcare challenges facing our communities, and a candlelight vigil to remember and recommit: to accessible, affordable, and compassionate care for all.

Healthcare cuts have real consequences. Real lives are at stake. Join us as we raise our voices and honor those whose lives have been shaped by barriers in our healthcare system.

Together, we will make it clear: care is critical, health is primary, and our communities must not be left behind. 🕯️

Happy Mental Health Monday, folx 💚
This week, we're sharing two simple practices that can make a real difference — especially on the days when stress feels like it's running the show.

Move Your Body
It doesn't have to be a workout. A walk around the block, some gentle stretching, a few minutes of yoga — whatever feels right for you. Moving your body activates the part of your brain responsible for clear thinking and decision-making, while quieting the reactive stress response. It also boosts natural anti-anxiety neurochemicals like serotonin and GABA. A little movement goes a long way.

Take That Walk Outside
If you can, take your movement outdoors. Walking in nature — noticing the trees, the plants, the feeling of sunlight on your skin — has been shown to lower cortisol levels and help regulate the nervous system that kicks into overdrive when we're in fight, flight, or freeze mode. Even a neighborhood sidewalk counts.

Two small things. Real impact. You deserve to feel well this week. 💚
