Completed another project in the . We were given templates of both traditional hands and a hamsa hand. I chose the folk artsy hands ✋️❤️🤚

“Heart and Hand" speaks to the place where intention, faith, and vulnerability meet. It draws from the Shaker belief of hands to work, heart to God—a reminder that a home, a life, a community is made through love in action. It also carries the idiom of heart in hand: the courage to show one’s truest self openly, without armor. And it honors the folk-art tradition that teaches that whatever the hand is called to do, the heart should answer with sincerity and wisdom.

“Duet of Survival” is my heart held openly and my hands guided by intention—rooted in Shaker welcome, shaped by vulnerability, and lifted by the old folk wisdom that whatever the hands create, the heart must illumine.
