Hello my G.L.A.M. Girlz. I pray you had a blessed week. I want to share something that God put on my heart this week.

Take a long look at our media, and tell me what you see. Most of what is advertised is showing women how to be beautiful, that outward beauty is so important, and looking like a Kardashian will give you fame, fortune, and apparently ultimate happiness.

Even my childhood was based on this same foundation. I was raised that outward beauty was so important. The only time my parents were proud of me is when I won something that was based on popularity or beauty. Never for my accomplishments in sports, or any other awards I may have won. However, because of beauty I was subjected to sexual abuse and r**e. Unfortunately, I feel beauty mostly comes at a price.

I'm wondering how many women have been subjected to the same.

We live in an era of selfies, always taking pictures of how we look, and if you really think about it we spend most of our time trying to take that perfect picture to post on social media. Why.....to get approval.

God showed me his view of this selfie era.

If you were visiting from another planet, and watched our society just based on social media, what would you learn about our society? I think most of us would say the same thing that God showed me. We would seem self absorbed.

I wonder how we became a society that focuses so much on our outward appearance, but never learned how to take care of our inward selves. How many of us could honestly say I am proud of the person I am inside? If we stood before God today, would he be proud of our inside? Because He could care less about our outward appearance.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't care about our outward selves, what I am saying is that the bible teaches us that God knows us only by our hearts. He knows the real us, not by the best selfie we've taken, but by how we act or react based on our hearts and how much we love God.

How much time have you spent taking care of the inside you? I don't think we are taught enough about how to be the best person we can be based on how we treat one another, and ourselves. Are you teaching your daughters how to take care of their insides, or is it all about the outsides? Are you teaching them how to be caring, loving, strong, happy, and grateful?

I believe God wants us to spend more time working on our inside self. I believe that God wants us to be whole, to be safe, secure, and loving. I believe that HE loves us so much, and wants us to reflect His love. I believe that if we spent more time working on our inside and learning His word, we would be able to ward of evil better. We would definitely know how we should be living our lives and that is to please God, not society.

I love you G.L.A.M. Girlz, but most importantly God loves you more than anyone or anything in this world.

Hello my GLAM Girlz! I was at the Heavenfest concert yesterday, and more than ever did I see so many beautiful ladies of God. GLAM Girlz come in all packages, they have all styles, they are all races, they are all shapes, ages and have all kinds of differences. But what unites us is that God loves us no matter what we look like.

Being a GLAM Girl means you have a heart full of God, that you present yourself the way God would want you too.

Your actions represent God in everything you do, including the way you dress, and the way you treat others, and most importantly, how you treat yourself.

When you walk out your door, remember - would God approve?!

We don't need to advertise our bodies to find love, because we have God's love. We just need to respect ourselves as God would want us to, Love ourselves as God does, and trust that he will find the man that HE wants for us. Which would be better than any man we could choose for ourselves.

We are treasures of God, but it's time we start acting like the treasures we are, and trust that God has our best interest at heart.

I pray that everyone of you beautiful ladies reading this today, are blessed, that God will fill your heart with the overflowing love that God has for you, that you will welcome HIS love. In Jesus name I pray. amen.
