Remembering Rosedale Elementary School

I do report tonight with both bad and good news, DPS is going to lease Rosedale to the archdiocese with a contract, unfortunately it will no longer be a public school run by DPS, I have been informed that the additions will be torn down but the main historic 1924 part will not be torn down. (Unconfirmed)

Just remember, this building is a part of a lot of people's history, this building is a mainstay in a very vital neighborhood in South Denver, it is very important to preserve our history so we can learn from it and remember it, none of the memories will be forgotten that had taken place I was still over it's almost 100-year history.

Personally it's why I fell in love with education and I fell in love with the neighborhood and history, we should always fight to preserve what we have so it doesn't fade from anyone's memories and life's.

Thank you Rosedale Elementary School, for the love, for the years, and all of the adventures and memories you have made with this community and students.
