Bridge House's Ready to Work program helps adults in Boulder rebuild their lives through paid employment, housing and case management support. Trainees work in landscaping and culinary social enterprises, gaining real-world experience and stability as they prepare to reenter the workforce.

Because many trainees come to the program without proper work gear, Bridge House identified a need for safety footwear to help prevent injuries on the job and during training.

With grant funding from Pinnacol, the organization purchased 92 pairs of safety boots and 10 pairs of safety shoes for its crews. The investment ensured every trainee could work safely and confidently in kitchens and outdoor environments.

On Sunday, dozens of team members, friends and family gathered at the Denver Pride Parade to march alongside the Pinnacol "LOVE" float. 🩵

Participating in Pride is one way we foster a safe, inclusive, and equitable workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.

To help address Colorado’s construction labor shortage, we're investing in a Construction Education Foundation of Colorado program that equips high school students with the skills and certifications they need for a durable career in the industry.
