Together, they demonstrate how great design can elevate resident experiences and create lasting value for the communities they serve.

Another incredible Builders for Babies Distribution Day is in the books! The Norris Design team, together with partners across the homebuilding and construction industry, distributed more than 1 million diapers and countless wipes to 70 care providers across Colorado.

Our Austin team hit the course this week for the annual Austin BUILT tournament in support of Austin Sunshine Camps, joining industry partners and community leaders for a great cause. Team members Matthew Taylor and Connor Jones were joined by our friends at Meritage Homes and Century Communities, Armando Rueda and Tu-Anh Cloteaux, for a memorable day on the greens.

Last week, two of our esteemed colleagues, Michael Saucedo and Elena Scott, spoke at the Bisnow Hotel & Hospitality Conference in Denver. During their presentation, they shared the story and evolution of Foote's Rest in Frisco, Colorado, highlighting the journey of transforming a historic family home into a distinctive hospitality brand and placemaking destination. Their discussion explored how honoring the property's heritage helped create an authentic and memorable guest experience.

We're honored to share that Norris Design received the 2026 SMPS Marketing Excellence Award (MEA) for Best Pro Bono Video for our work with HomeAid Colorado. As a longtime partner, we've seen firsthand the difference they make in communities across Colorado by helping individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

We’re thrilled to share that our own Eva Mather was recognized as an honoree at Bisnow’s Denver Women Leading Real Estate Awards held last week. After receiving nominations from across the Front Range, Bisnow and industry peers recognized Eva as one of the leading women shaping Denver Metro’s commercial real estate industry. Bisnow’s Power Women initiative celebrates trailblazers who are driving innovation, inspiring others, and paving the way for the next generation of CRE leaders. Congratulations, Eva!

Investing in future industry leaders starts with mentorship, opportunity, and community! Norris Design is proud to sponsor the ACE Mentor Program of Austin and support students pursuing careers in architecture, construction, and engineering. At this year’s final event ceremony, our Austin team had the honor of presenting a names scholarship to one of the program’s outstanding students. We’re grateful to help support the next generation shaping our communities and helping the world grow. Congratulations to all of this year’s ACE participants on a successful program year!

Seeing our designs come to life! Our Arizona team recently joined the ND CA and Irrigation teams for a hands-on site walk, gaining valuable insight into the Construction Administration process and the importance of punch walks in maintaining design quality and intent. Experiences like these continue to strengthen our team’s technical knowledge and commitment to creating successful environments.

We’re proud to support HomeAid at Clermont Commons, where members of our team spent the afternoon cultivating garden spaces for veterans at risk of homelessness. As landscape architects, we believe thoughtful outdoor spaces can foster connection, comfort, and community. Grateful for the opportunity to give back and grow something meaningful together.
