If your child is planning on participating in any of our athletic programs the upcoming school year, they must have a Bound account (this has replaced FinalForms) and a valid KSHSAA physical. A couple of changes to be aware of...

ParentSquare (and StudentSquare for students in grades 6-12) and BOUND are two different platforms, but both are new for the 2026-2027 school year.

If you're having trouble logging in, email [email protected] for assistance. Beginning July 13, school office staff can also help. Parents and students have received invitation emails at the email address listed in Skyward.

ParentSquare is now Derby Public Schools' primary communication platform, replacing most district, school, classroom, team and activity communication tools, including Skylert, Remind, TeamReach, ClassDojo and others. Rather than having teachers and coaches use a variety of different apps, the district worked with a committee of parents, staff, coaches, students and administrators to select one platform that brings communication together in a single, secure place.

ParentSquare does not replace Skyward Family Access, Canvas, district email or other learning management systems. Families will continue to use those systems for enrollment, student information, grades, assignments and other instructional purposes.

BOUND: Learn more at https://www.derbyschools.com/academics/extracurricular, where you'll find information about setup and features. BOUND is now the district's activities and athletics platform. It replaces FinalForms for athletic physicals and is also where you'll find athletic schedules, ticket purchasing and other activities information.

There's still plenty of summer left to enjoy, but the 2026-2027 school year will be here before we know it!
