Deck Project

Would like to give a shout out to Shawn Hayes of Hammer & Nail ICT for his work on our wonderful new screened-in covered deck. For this project, we threw a lot of challenges at Shawn and his team of fellow firemen, and throughout the process, they met each unique request with a great attitude and willingness to take on anything to build something great.

For the exterior, we wanted the deck to have the same look as the rest of the house with painted lap siding and white trim. For the inside, the area
is completely bug free, with screens not only on the sides, but under the deck floor as well. There is a living and dining area with dimmable lights, TV with surround sound, and a screen door with a pet entrance. To get the most use of the deck throughout the year, there are oscillating fans and radiant heaters mounted to the ceiling.

Thanks again to Shawn, Jonathan Jarvis and others who worked on the project...turned out better than we could have imagined!!
