Choo choo! This week’s takes us back to the early beginnings of steam-powered transportation. The 10-ounce issue for Barbados commemorates the 200th anniversary of the first public railway line, which ran on England’s Stockton to Darlington lines. This colorized antique finish silver issue is one of the 100 coins in the running for this year’s COTY competition, and is one of ten nominated for Most Historically Significant.
