From day one I wanted this film to be as organic as possible. Nothing “brought in”. Just a raw old school slasher film.

In doing so I’ve spent a lot of time recording sound FX. I used to bring in prerecorded FX that I would pay the license for because of time, equipment (at the time) and headaches.

It’s an interesting art to create and manipulate sounds. Another fun aspect of filmmaking!

Based on the short story “Weeds” by Stephen King or better known as “The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill” from Creepshow.

I wanted to have a little fun with this one and not take a darn thing seriously!

I have a couple more pieces in the works I can hopefully finish up by October!
