It might sound like the halfway point of a marathon, but the Middle Mile is actually the invisible powerhouse of the internet.

The ICN is Iowa's Middle Mile provider. We are the high-speed highway system that connects major networks and towns together, moving massive amounts of data across the state at lightning speeds. 🌐

Think of it this way: We don’t run the wire directly into your living room. Instead, we bring the internet to your community hub so local providers can deliver it right to your door. That final connection from the hub to your house? That's the "Last Mile." 🏠

For Iowans, a strong Middle Mile means rural towns get the same fast, reliable access as big cities. We build and maintain this backbone so Iowa’s schools, hospitals, and essential services are never left stranded in the digital slow lane.

Fireworks? Yes. 🎆 BBQ? Yes. 🍔 Network downtime? Absolutely not.

Our main office is closed on Friday, July 3rd for the Independence Day weekend, but our Network Operations Center (NOC) is staying awake so you can unplug! They’re on standby 24/7 to keep your services running smoothly.
