🐾Foster moms description: Meet Juniper! Juni is a funny, sweet 11 month old girl who loves to play, run outside, and then snuggle with her people. She does great with dogs her size or bigger, loves kids, and is house and kennel trained. She would do best in a home without small dogs or cats

Rex is a 18 month old black lab available for adoption through Forever Home Dog rescue. He weighs about 55ibs and pry won’t get a whole lot bigger. The best way to describe Rex would be a happy, care free and loving boy. He truly loves everyone he meets and greets them with that big beautiful smile.
🐶Dogs: Rex attends doggie daycare with us. He meets multiple dogs each day and loves everyone. He just loves to play, run and to be social.
🐱Cats: He has met Clive’s house cat and although he was curious about her he was very well mannered and okay with her.
🧍🧍‍♀️People: Rex adores all humans. While in doggie daycare he does love to run and play but will always be found where the human is to! He snuggles up right next to us if he’s tired. He has visited the vet for a wellness check and during a blood draw he showered the tech with kisses.
🦮 Additional info: Rex goes on walks and is decent on leash. Doesn’t pull and responds well to correction if he does. He does however not always walk in a straight line and wonders more side to side. He has a a habit of jumping up on people, especially to give you a big lick across the face. We are working on this in foster care but we will always encourage and recommend basic training! He did wonderful in the car rides weather you want him as a sidekick in the front seat or back of a SUV. He loves to play with toys but tough toys will be needed. Chew bones are also a plus in Rex’s world. He has walks through petsmart saw other dogs in leash, smelling all the smells and new people and was a true gem! He did so incredibly well. No barking, no hard pulling, didn’t try to steal anything off the shelves (not even amazing smelling bully bones which I thought he might at least try to). He walked nicely right next to a cart.
Rex would really love to find a place in someone’s heart to call his forever!
My only request as his foster is to plan for basic manner training with him. We are working on this everyday and want to see that continue for him and his future. He is such a people pleaser, smart and good listener you could train him basics but even some fun tricks to! He is a young lab so regular energy outlet and enrichment should be expected. He is easy to please with this, go on walks, play fetch, doggie daycare, a day of adventure or 1:1 training. Rex has a great demeanor all around.

🦴😍We have fostered a lot of dogs and every dog is different. Typically we envision what we want or they require for their future home. Example: fenced yard, another dog, no kids, or someone who’s home a lot. However Rex could truly be content with just about any lifestyle as long as he’s included. Homebody, traveling, busy & on the go, or low key.
He just wants to be loved and part of your world.
