Hey There!

We’ve been away for a minute…moving the workshop, hosting warehouse sale hours, working on client projects and brining cool new stuff to the studio!

Something had to give time-wise…and there seemed no time to post.

But here’s a quick update on what we’ve been working on, what’s coming, and a peek into the new workshop.

Along with that, a great transformation by Nine9Lives in Ames of a piece they picked up from our warehouse sale. Always great to see cool pieces reborn…!

The workshop move to Adel is nearly complete.

We’ve been clearing, sorting and organizing to make the operation efficient and smooth.

Tomorrow, work on pieces in the new facility begins…

Much appreciation to everyone who stopped in yesterday and picked out items.

A little over twenty pieces are on their way to new homes!

But there’s still plenty left….🙃

This new video shows nearly everything remaining in the warehouse.

(Everything else is in the new Adel facility, and we are operating the restoration shop out of the new location moving forward!)

Hours I’ll be in the 97 Indiana Ave, DSM warehouse this week:
Monday 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Wednesday 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Saturday 9am - Noon

Warehouse Sale!!

We’ve got the bulk of the shop moved to our new Adel location and are cleaning out remaining inventory.

Over 60 great unique pieces are available at cheap prices starting at $25. Most are between $80 - $150, (a few are higher).

These have all been inspected and cleaned. Nearly all had structural repairs made so the bases are all solid, drawers and doors work properly, and are ready for use.

If you’ve wanted to try a refinish project, there are many great options that only need cosmetic attention, and are fully ready for service.

UPDATE: I’ll be in the warehouse this week at 97 Indiana Ave on Saturday the 20th from 8am - 11am. If you’d like to stop in, let me know!

A friend sent this to me this morning and I thought it was a great explanation of the differences between vintage vs. new furniture.

12 million tons of said furniture goes in the landfill each year…

Today is the first phase of the Re+New workshop move to Adel!

We’re starting with taking client projects and some speculation (spec) pieces to the new facility.

Next, we will finish inspecting, cleaning and prepping the remaining pieces for sale at the Des Moines warehouse. The Warehouse Sale continues!
