As we head into Memorial Day weekend, it's our reminder about what Monday truly represents.
Memorial Day is how we remember the men and women who gave everything to protect our country. Their lives, their futures, their time with the people they loved so that others could live in freedom. That kind of sacrifice is hard to fully comprehend, but it points to a love that is deeply selfless and incredibly powerful.
It reminds us how precious life is, and how important it is to live with gratitude, compassion, and faith. To not take a single day for granted. To love others well. To carry a little more kindness, a little more humility, and a deeper awareness of God’s presence in both the brokenness and the beauty.
